It is Christmas time! Hooray!! 🙂
I wanted to update you all on some projects that I have been working on the past six months. I have worked on many different projects using many different gaming engines: McCodes, GRPG, RC, NWE, and others. Here are just a few projects that I have been working on the past six months:
- Killers Instinct Mafia (http://www.killersinstinctmafia.com) – This game is run by a fantastic owner (shout out to my friend Tang!) who really cares about the players. I have made many improvements here and there in order to make the game better, so go check it out and see for yourself! 🙂
- The Mafia King (http://themafiaking.x10.mx) – This game is something that has been in the works for a very long time. I have completely re-done the back-end processes in order to separate crons, query the data more efficiently, and re-organize the file structure. Go check it out and certainly let me know of your thoughts!
- Mafia Turf (http://www.mafiaturf.com) – This game is again run by owners who are committed to make the game a better place. I have worked with the owners in order to make several different code changes, including a completely new experience algorithm (which for those of you who code, you understand how difficult that can be). Go check it out! 🙂
- Mafia Empries (http://www.playmfe.com) – This game is very unique, and I haven’t really seen a mafia game quite like this. This game attempts to take a text-based MMORPG and re-create it as a 3D MMORPG game. I just started working on this project, but the code base is that of which I never experienced before. The owner is certainly very talented at what he does, and I sure hope to learn quite a lot of different technologies working on this project. Go check it out and let me know what you think! 🙂
There are many other little projects here and there that I have worked on, but I certainly did not want to bore you with continuous rambling on.
Stay tuned because you may find a nice surprise on this blog next week!
That’s all for now, until next time…keep that tech gear ticking.
